Langs stenen en bergen
A brisk hike of 16 km through a beautiful nature on the outskirts of the Flemish Ardennes with occasional information about the hilly landscape, where sometimes a remarkable story or building pops up. It is the ideal walk for a daytrip with in between a visit to a church, a picnic or a quick bite in a 'restaurant'. And of course, one or more stops in the pubs along the way.

Sentegeurens, diepgroene smaragd langs de Zwalm

In 1978, Sint-Goriks-Oudenhove (popularly known as “Sentegeurens”) was called a deep green emerald along the river Zwalm. You will notice during this 8 km hike, that this nickname was not exaggerated, although you will only see the Zwalm for a short time. The untouched landscape over the vast pouting area that stretches around the idyllic village centre speaks volumes.

De Zwalmvallei rond Rozebeke en Roborst
We "klimmen" de heuvel van de vallei van de Traveinsbeek over en komen terecht in de naburige brede Zwalmvallei met z'n pittoreske dorpjes Roborst en Rozebeke. Maar let op: Het durft hier al eens spoken. Gelukkig zijn er remedies voor allerhande kwaaltjes en ziekten voorhanden...
